From Hadeland to London

Studio Kaape is a Scandinavian rooted interior architecture and design studio in London and Oslo

Studio Kaape (KP) was founded by the Norwegian interior architect Kirsti Prestmarken.

“My mum and dad` s interest within the bar and restaurant industry, and the fact my father being a hotel director and my boss for years gave an early introduction to the hospitality business.

I was 13 years-old starting in the dish area..quickly crawling into the reception ..before convincing him I was enjoying the bar and restaurant areas the most. The hosting experience, social networking and etiquette life fascinated me, and travelling at early age to the big cities gain inspiration and kept me attracted to unknown cultures, cuisines and the diversity which life brings.

After studies in New York, London became my hometown and after years designing offices and co-working spaces, my childhood experience finally came back to the drawing board - and this was the beginning of Studio Kaape, established the summer of 2015 "

Studio Kaape have since its start focused on building a portfolio within the hospitality sector and high-end residential.

Our team co-exists architects, interior architects and designers to supply design and build to our clients.

We will challenge each client and provoke each space to evoking individual interiors that last, sustain and are easy to maintain.
